I'm Aghababa Baghirov, a Technical Artist, Unity Developer, and Game Designer with a background in computer science, contemporary art, and interactive technologies.
My work sits at the intersection of art and technology, where I combine technical problem-solving with visual storytelling to create meaningful interactive experiences. I enjoy building systems that not only function efficiently but also support atmosphere, emotion, and player experience.
Professionally, I've worked across game development, virtual reality, and contemporary art. My experience includes developing games as a Technical Artist, creating VR learning experiences for education, and producing interactive artworks exhibited through contemporary art institutions. Working in multidisciplinary teams has taught me to bridge communication between artists, designers, and programmers while maintaining both technical quality and creative vision.
I recently completed international studies in Game Design through Universidade Lusófona, LUCA School of Arts, and Aalto University, where I expanded my practice through collaboration with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
Alongside professional work, I continuously explore new technologies, prototype experimental ideas, participate in game jams, and develop personal projects. I believe experimentation is one of the best ways to grow as both a developer and a designer.
